Hi-Visibility Font
We provide several monospaced (fixed width) font packages designed to
improve text visibility and ease data entry in
Windows and Terminal modes.
For All Full-screen MS-DOS and Windows' Terminal Modes
HVFont FullScreen
is a package of utilities and font image files. It allows you to
permanently replace the full screen
VGA screen fonts contained in the
Operating Systems' Codepage Information Files
- and even the
PC's video card
- with PROCON's HVFont. (It includes
HVDOSFNT.COM
- a command line program designed to temporarily replace the
VGA screen font.)
 
For Full-screen MS-DOS and Terminal Modes
HVDOSFNT.COM is
a command line program designed to
temporarily replace the hardware based
VGA screen font with a compatible version of
PROCON's HVFont. (What is the HVFont?).
 
For Windowed DOS Boxes and Terminal Modes
HVDOSBox.FON
is a Windows
font file providing many additional sizes of the
Windows'
Terminal font. The fontface is
PROCON's
HVFont. It allows
DOS boxes - and
Windows Terminals - to be expanded to use
all available screen area
- even onLCD screens

Screens?) and high resolution
CRT monitors.

The HVTerminal
package is a suite of TrueType fonts providing
Normal,
Narrow,
Wide and
Light versions of the
HVFont. It is designed to be used in
Windows' Terminals ("Command windows") to provide a clearer and more flexible alternative to the few monospaced

For Windows' Applications
HVRaster.FON
is a Windows bitmap font file providing
Standard,
Narrow and
Wide versions of the
HVFont
in many point sizes. It is especially useful in
text editors,
program development environments,
database entry systems, spreadsheets, etc., where a
very legible
fixed width

For Text and Code Editors
The HVEdit
package is a suite of TrueType font files providing
Normal,
Narrow,
Wide and
Light versions of the
HVFont. It is designed to be used in
text editors,
program development environments,
database entry systems, spreadsheets, etc., where a
very legible
fixed width
screen font is essential and scalability is required. (Click for Details)
We also provide a fixed pitch bitmap printer font
package for use on LaserJet
compatible printers. It produces clearer output
than resident printer fonts, and offers a
larger range of point sizes.
 
For LaserJet Printers (MS-DOS, Window's Terminal)
The HVLJFont
package contains printer versions of
PROCON's HVFont
that can be used on HP compatible printers.

We also provide a suite of font manipulation and management utilities for more users who wish to view and modify fonts.

User Licence
These font packages
are provided free of charge to users of
PROBID,
PROBILL,
PROVAL,
PROCOST or
PROPLAN with current support agreements.
Other users are authorized to install and examine a package for a maximum period of
30 days after which they must
purchase a licence to continue using the software.
