- A Clearer Monospaced TrueType Font
Many applications - especially text and code editors - work effectively only with "monospaced", or fixed width fonts.
Raster (bitmap) fonts generally produce clearer screen text than vector (scalable) fonts - especially at smaller points sizes. However, some applications cannot use raster fonts, and scalable fonts can produce a better match between screen display and printed output. (Our HVRaster font demonstrates the excellent legibility provided by raster fonts.)

The Licensed version of the HVEdit suite provides the HVFont in three different widths - Normal, Narrow and Wide - and in a normal width Light version for those who prefer a less dense and bold font.
The Evaluation version includes the same font files. However, every third alphabetic character is replaced with a hollow box.
